Paint shop for Volkswagen Navarra S.A.
Pamplona 1999

The 16 metre high paint shop building occupies 13,000 m2, made up of a ground floor and three upper stories. A huge 65 metre high chimney is the only element to break the linearity of this large volume. The factory building is made from sandwich panel, perfectly insulated to prevent the ingress of dust from outside and to maintain the required temperature and humidity constant for the bodywork painting process carried out inside.

Volkswagen Navarra awarded this project to ACS Proyecto, Obras y Construcciones as a turnkey operation. Iturralde y Sagués Ingenieros performed the construction work technical supervision and assistance.
